Even though Toulouse is close to the Mediterranean sea, it's weather is more oceanic than it is tropical.
June to August is considered to be the hot season with temperatures reaching 40°C. During the winter
season which is December to February, temperatures at night can drop to 2°C very often. Toulouse is located

Summer season (June to August), is warm enough for the visitors to enjoy it. July is the month with more sunny
days and the city gets more than 8 hours of sunshine every day. However during this season there are ocassional
rain falls that help a little bit with the heat.
Winter is not as cold as in similiar european cities with similiar features, the average high temperature is
about 9°C and the lowest is about 3°C. The city gets around 4 hours of sunshine in a day, during this season.

Climate Toulouse
Toulouse
Toulouse is located in southwest of France, close to Pyrenees, it's approximately in between Atlantic
and the Mediterranean. It is the 4th largest city in France.
Toulouse is an important center of space-flight and aviation. More than 35 thousand people from the city
work in aviation and space industry. The largest employer in the region is Airbus. Despite the economic
development the city itself has remained pretty much unchanged.

The city, which is near Garonne river, lies within the site of an Roman ancient city, even nowdays
some small parts/streets of the city have some roman style characteristics. It's because of these
buildings that Toulouse has the nickname "La Ville Rose", which means "The Pink City".

In the past (during middle ages), the city was one of France's richest due to the fact that it
sold blue coloring that was harvested from woad plants.
